I was fortunate to stumble across a beautiful meditation by Alyssa G. Mullings link below.
Meditation for Black Women | Self-Love & Healing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVW9nfXVYuo
Which then led me on to this piece by Alyssa G. Mullings titled the body.
Alyssa G. Mullings discusses writing a letter to her body and then also creating a response to which I was inspired and crafted my own, as I thought this was a fantastic exercise and I want to share, as I found this a very empowering way of embracing my truths.
If you have the time watch the YouTube clip as Alyssa G. Mullings demonstrates an extremely beautiful expression of vulnerability.
Here are my letters:
Letter From I To Body

Letter From Body To I

I found this way of expressing so liberating and this can be done on numerous occasions based on what’s coming up for you or just general Self Expression.
Thank you for inspiring me Alyssa! Much love.
Will you write a letter?
I hope this inspires you to speak your truth, even if it’s just to yourself.
Sending light and love, Always x
